Envision Post-COVID Futures

What experiential values can we observe from our collective pandemic situation, and how might we leverage these values to envision our post-COVID futures?
The COVID19 pandemic has affected the lives of global community in unprecedented ways. From shelter-in-place, quarantines, to new protocols around physical contacts, these changes will continue to impact our way of life in the post-pandemic era.
I started this research project with student collaborators at MIT Civic Design Initiative to study the changing behaviors and perceptions of people due to the current pandemic situation. Following the initial research, with D.Fluence, we’re applying this insight to speculate value-driven future visions.
Four speculative future visions developed from this project will be exhibited at Seoul Hall of Architecture and Urbanism in February 2021.
