Envisioning Meaningful Technological Futures

Innovation by Design (2015)

This is a year-long design research / strategic design project I led at Innovation by Design in 2015, for a major international consumer electronics company. This project entailed looking into all industry verticals, collecting expert insights through interviews, conducting user interviews with residents from Paris, Singapore, New York, and envisioning experience scenarios with projections on technological innovations. .

In addition to the extensive report on research of technological trends and our conceptual work on future visions and services, we also produced four short movies illustrating these visions.

In 2015, we engaged with a major international consumer electronics company to envision how our lives will be lie in year 2020. This current year of pandemics is far from what we thought could happen, but the technological visions of future city life that we envisioned is right on trajectory.

City visions developed from a deep dive into technology and lifestyle trends were produced into storytelling scenarios each represented by an archetypal persona, supported by concepts around ecosystem of products and services.
